Eleni Era’s songs are the washing away of layers of stinging festers, an antidote available only via prescription signed by the ego. Following her collection of pop deviations on her 2019 debut album, Rise Love, Eleni Era plunges deep into an overdue appointment with her soul in her sophomore album, Younger Heart to gain insight that transcends from the glowing embers of the heart, in through the fingertips, and out onto the piano.

“Younger Heart stands on the horizon of two time periods. On one, it presents a palette of previous shades of my heart, the excitement, the naivety, the devastating pain, but also the majestic, passionate love of a young heart. Half the album’s songs describe different stages in a complicated past relationship. I wasn't ready to embrace this chapter and accept the changes it brought on myself until now. Making this album was a turning point and a healing session, like “walking on broken glass towards the sun” just as I conclude in ‘Mirror’. The rest of the songs were written during the last couple of years and are songs of hope, of compassion, of unity, of a new dawn.”
